In Paris, the bells of the Notre Dame reverberate throughout history, the one who rings them a figure of legend. In Philadelphia, the cracked Liberty Bell represents the imperfect freedom of our American experiment. Webster presents an abstract version of a bell, its rigid lines geometric and faceted, its textured black iron forming an iconic cage for its smooth vintage-bulb candelabra.
